On 1st of December the panel of judges took a decision regarding the projects presented at the fourteenth edition of Ceramic Tile Studies Departments Contest of ASCER and the School of Architecture UIC Barcelona. This year, the proposed projects were focused on providing new applications for large-sized and thin ceramic tiles.

The students, accompanied by the professors Jordi Roviras and Cristina García Castelao, presented one by one the ceramic pieces with which they have been working along the quarter, in front of a jury composed by Antonio Vaíllo, architect and founder of Vaíllo Irigaray Architects; Maximià Torruella, from PMMT; Mar Esteve, marketing director of The Size and Eva Pedrajas in representation of ASCER, all of them accompanied by the director Dr. Vicente Sarrablo.
